SHARON J. PAULSEN

Sharon J. Paulsen, 90, of Sycamore, Illinois, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2026, at Autumn Leaves of St. Charles.

She was born June 27, 1935, in Malta, Illinois, the daughter of Clifford and Ingri (Davis) Overton.

She is survived by her children Kevin Charles (Chuck Joe) Paulsen of NV, Lonnie (Kevin) Brint of Sycamore, Donald (Jean) Paulsen of Sycamore, Jaelyn (Daryl) Cook of DeKalb and Daniel (Tracy) Paulsen of AZ; her grandchildren Jodi (Kevin) McCall, Carol (Brad) Slutz, Adam(Melanie) Paulsen, Amber (Craig) Clendening, Cody Paulsen and Tristan Paulsen; her great grandchildren Tyler (Renee) McCall, Jaedyn (Beau) Mumm, Zach McCall, Drake Slutz, and Eddie Clendening; her brother Donald (Eloise) Overton of DeKalb; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son David Paulsen; her parents; and her siblings Doug Overton, Elroy Overton, Harold “Bub” Overton and Maxine Schneider.

A private graveside service will be held at Fairview Park Cemetery in DeKalb. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, March 13, 2026 at Foursquare Church, 210 Grove Street, DeKalb, Illinois.
