BONITA "BONNIE" K RAUMAN

Bonita “Bonnie” Rauman, 80, of DeKalb, Illinois, passed away Friday, February 13, 2026, at DeKalb County Rehab and Nursing Center.

She was born November 14, 1945 in Ohio, the daughter of Harry and Blanche (Flounders) Henderson. Bonnie married Larry Rauman on March 26th, 1988 in Las Vegas.

Bonnie was employed at Littlejohn Elementary School, DeKalb Bank, and First National Bank of Omaha; she was also a Girl Scout troop leader and den leader. Bonnie loved spending time with her grandchildren. Bonnie had a love of Harry Potter that she shared with her granddaughter, Nina. She also loved Disney trips with both her granddaughters. She also enjoyed the White Sox, especially Carlton Fisk, Snoopy and Elvis.

She is survived by her children Jim Boyes, Terri Boyes Pardridge, and her stepson Jerry (Cathy) Rauman; her grandchildren Nina (Tim) Barnes, Heather Pardridge, Christopher Boyes, Kyle (Alexa) Boyes, and Justin Rauman; her brother Carl (Patricia) Henderson.

She was preceded in death by her husband Larry; her parents; and her siblings Sue, Clara, Nancy, Lynn, and Sherry.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday February 26, 2026, at Mound Rest Cemetery in Cortland, Illinois.
